If I had to rate the caregivers that Senior Home Care Solutions had come to my home on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give them an 11. Each of them was caring and courteous. They arrived on time and never missed a day. While here they prepared my lunch and left dinner ready for me. They kept my house neat and clean. In addition, they also went to the grocery store and did the other errands on my list. When necessary they took me to doctor’s appointments. As I started to feel better I went with them to do the errands and they were always there to lend me a hand and make sure I was not in danger of falling.

Sheila & Mary, Thank you so much for everything you have done to help our family. You were great to work with and Mary was caring and observant relative to my Dad (and Mom for that matter)! Keep in touch. My Mom misses Mary. I will highly recommend you should anyone be looking for senior care services.

I live 500 miles away from my brother, who lives alone and has memory problems.  Sheila Ohstrom and Senior Home Care Solutions have been assisting my brother for about a year. I am very fortunate to have them. Recently, my brother’s microwave stopped working and microwaving is his only way of  heating food.  Sheila went out and purchased a new microwave, set it up for him, and made sure he knew how to use it. This was all done before my brother had to fix his supper. Having Sheila involved in my brother’s life makes it easier for me to worry less about being so far away.  Sheila and her employees have helped me provide the care that my brother needs.

I just received a call from one of the walkers from the Syracuse event who appreciated speaking to you. She couldn’t stop talking about how she loved your community and family feel to Alzheimer’s Solutions / Senior Home Care Solutions. I just wanted you to know how valued you are in the community and to our walkers.

Sheila, Thank you so much for the gorgeous floral arrangement that you sent to my dad’s service. Your support and kindness the past two years truly have meant so much. We will always be thankful for your incredible, caring staff.

The Teepa Snow training was invaluable! Rose and Bernadette provided just the right mix of Teepa videos combined with hands-on training. The videos helped to communicate Teepa's personality and philosophy, and Rose and Bernadette would follow each one with explanation, discussion and then practice. Having professional trainers to assist staff in actual practices was instrumental in taking Teepa's teaching from theory to reality. We have noticed a real effort from our staff to implement the skills they have gained after completing the training. This type of training is essential for anyone caring for people with dementia. We are looking forward to additional training sessions for our newest employees.

On behalf of the Genesis Health Project Network, we would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the 4-Part Seminar series to support Caregivers as they care for their loved ones with Dementia/Alzheimer’s. The feedback we have received has been very positive and reflective of time well spent. Undoubtedly, these caregivers appreciated the opportunity to share their experiences, storytelling and chance to learn from you, your staff and each other. Interactive engagement consistently leads the way as we look forward to future health promotion initiatives with this group. Thank you again for allowing us to schedule our two day PAC training with your organization. I felt that the content of the training program was extremely appropriate and related very well to the jobs of our caregivers. We have already utilized some of the approaches with positive effect.
